With 10 years of experience in 14 countries in the region, we investigate the obstacles that prevent citizen empowerment and apply our findings by creating technological tools that monitor authorities, bring communities closer to their governments, fight corruption, strengthen the work of activists, and allow influence on public policies. We work on three strategic lines: local democracy, direct democracy and representative democracy. There are five focus areas: advocacy for political innovation, Abre Alcaldias (open participatory local governments), environmental democracy, and communications and new narratives.
