Tanzania Girl Guides Association is a non-Tanzania Girl Guides Association is a non-profit and non-discriminatory membership association, registered under the Societies Act Cap 337; dedicated to the social and economic advancement of girls and women in Tanzania. Our vision is to see a society with empowered girls and women attaining their fullest potential as resourceful and responsible citizens through the provision of non-formal education, including; guiding skills, peer-to-peer dialogue and mentorship, advocacy, awareness raising, girl-friendly service delivery, and media engagement. Our programmes are directed at contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development goals including Zero Hunger and Good Health and well-being- running a programme on Girl Powered Nutrition, and menstrual hygiene management; Climate Action through a programme called Girl Led Action on Climate Change; Gender Equality through programmes on surfing safely and smartly, stopping gender-based violence, action on body confidence and sexual and reproductive health rights.and sexual and reproductive health rights. +
