|Description=Sociedad Peruana de Derecho Ambiental (SPDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and protection of the environment, founded in 1986. Today, SPDA plays a leading role in advancing environmental policy, informed by environmental science, in Peru and works closely with local and Indigenous communities throughout the country. To this end, SPDA has five main initiatives and programs: Biodiversity and Indigenous Peoples, Forests and Ecosystem Services, Environmental Policy and Governance, Marine Governance, and the “Conservamos por Naturaleza” (“We Conserve by Nature”) campaign.
