Description/notes

Tebtebba (Indigenous Peoples’ International Centre for Policy Research and Education) is an indigenous peoples’ organization born out of the need for heightened advocacy to have the rights of indigenous peoples respected, protected and fulfilled worldwide. It also advocates and works on the elaboration and operationalization of indigenous peoples’ sustainable, self-determined development.

Their mission focuses on ensuring the proper implementation of the UNDRIP by States, UN Systems, other multilateral global and regional bodies, non-state actors such as corporations and NGOs, and indigenous peoples, themselves. As well as expounding and implementing a holistic framework and strategy for sustainable and self-determined development of indigenous peoples (IPSSDD).
