HRITC is a private, non-governmental civil institution that operates in complete political neutrality and is not affiliated with any party, whether partisan or non-partisan. It is a scientific and intellectual body that aims to promote human rights values in Yemen and the Arab world, in compliance with all charters, covenants and universal declarations of human rights issued by the United Nations; The centre specialises in spreading awareness of human rights through activities, training courses, intellectual meetings, library archives and publications.
