Description/notes

ESDO is a membership based action research organisation working to spread the message about the need for environmental conservation – to ensure the protection of biological diversity and ecological balance.

The mission of ESDO is to promote and encourage an environmental movement through a participatory democratic framework involving diverse social groups, and to assist them with ideas, information, and leadership for promoting a safe, sustainable, and toxic-free world.

For example in order to achieve a zero waste community ESDO's project will include: interventions and activities made to assess and identify current waste management scenario and generate solutions, plan and test the zero waste solution mechanism and establish partnerships with the communities and the local government.
