Description/notes
Friends of the Earth Sierra Leone (FOESL) is a non-governmental, non-partisan or political organization committed to the preservation, restoration and rational use of the environment and natural resources. Additionally, they are also working to improve the living conditions of the Sierra Leone society with a focus on women and children in the environment and development.
In relation to gender and children, they are doing this through preparing a programme for peace and reconciliation including the environment, whereby they will actively work with schools, institutions, women and youth groups, religious groups and local communities. Through the use of meetings, workshops, seminars, talks, visits, conferences and exhibitions.
