Description/notes
The FASE - Federation of Organs for Social and Educational Assistance - was founded in 1961. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that operates today in six Brazilian states and has its national headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
FASE's mission is to contribute to the construction of a democratic and active society in favour of alternatives to the current development model, with environmental justice and universalization of social, economic, cultural, environmental, civil and political rights as initial conditions for the inclusion of a large portion of the country's population still in conditions of inequality, poverty and discrimination.
