Agrecol Afrique's mission is to strengthen the vision, practice and promotion of organic and/or ecological agriculture and the social and solidarity economy in Senegal and West Africa. They aim to do this by contributing to the development of knowledge, practices and experiences in organic and/or ecological agriculture as well as developing communication and information, in ecological and/or organic agriculture. Their work has included the training of actors in agroecology (more than 1500 farmers and facilitators, 120 technicians and 400 students) and the contribution to the birth of a Senegalese movement of organic farmers (FENAB).
