Today, the CFDA carries out actions at the national and international level for the right to Truth and to justice for the families of the disappeared, the fight against impunity, the establishment of a system for establishing the Truth on a case-by-case basis for all victims of the 1990s. More broadly, through its actions, the CFDA works for an effective rule of law, respectful of the fundamental freedoms of citizens and victims in Algeria.
