Description/notes
Labour is a development promotion organization with experience in incorporating environmental management into local, regional and national development processes.
In our beginnings, we achieved access to social and environmental justice for the population of Ilo, which led to a process of citizen empowerment and local development of that province. By extending our intervention to other cities in the south of the country, we were pioneers in promoting environmental management projects for adaptation to climate change, management of coastal zones, solid waste management and management of socio-environmental conflicts.
