Description/notes
Youth’s Forum for Protection of Human Rights (YFPHR) was established in 2016. The organisation has been at the forefront of the human rights movement in the seven sister states of the northeast region of India.
They actively work on the rights of indigenous peoples, women and children, as well as on issues of climate justice and environmental rights. The group has also been advocating against the unsustainable development projects that have been springing up in the region.
