SLA RIESCO ALERT emerges as a citizen group, made up of people of different ages, professions and trades, who came together in 2010 with the purpose of PROTECTING ISLA RIESCO from mega-open-pit coal mining.
Mainly we are moved by love for the land, the deep conviction that Isla Riesco must be protected and conserved for future generations and the awakening of citizens to the understanding that today it becomes more urgent every day to be ALERT-ACTIVE towards the care of the environment. the environment around us.
