The Mission of GER is to support the process of peacebuilding and community development in Rwanda, and the Great Lakes region. One way they do this is through Community-based conservation practices whereby there is enhanced knowledge sharing in order to achieve the prevention of deforestation, extinction of indigenous species and adaptation to the effects of climate change. Which assists in improving the food system and strengthening community resilience.
