Description/notes

CJA was formed in 2013 to unite frontline communities and organizations. Their strategy aims to represent just transition in a way that whole communities are able to build thriving economies that provide dignified, productive, and ecologically sustainable livelihoods; democratic governance, and ecological resilience.

This involves a transition away from extractive systems of production, consumption and political oppression, and towards resilient, regenerative, and equitable economies. As well as the mobilization and support of grassroots movements in achieving their aims, building solidarity with other sectors, and changing the narrative.
