GIFSEP was established in recognition of the tremendous environmental challenges and the ever-increasing threats arising from the impacts of climate change. Their work involves mobilising communities to build resilience to a changing climate and to conserve and protect the environment.
Additionally, they try to create environmental and social platforms for job opportunities, improve food security and preserve our environment. They have developed a climate risk register in order to raise awareness in communities most likely to be impacted.
