CONAQ's objectives are to fight for the guarantee of collective use of the territory, for the implementation of sustainable development projects, for the implementation of public policies taking into account the organization of quilombo communities; for quality education consistent with the way of life in the quilombos; the protagonism and autonomy of quilombola women; for the permanence of the young person in the quilombo and above all for the common use of the Territory, of the natural resources and for the harmony with the environment.
