The TA.FI.TA. Association, founded in 2014 in Ambohimanambola, works to preserve the environment through the recovery of waste. Its recycling centre was set up in 2017. The Association works with pre-collection agents, mostly women, with a view to effective waste management in rural areas and the creation of income-generating activities. Its precept is defined as follows: "waste = resources." Waste is indeed a source of nuisance, although resources as inexhaustible raw materials when exploited correctly. (FB Page)
