Young Volunteers for the Environment-The Gambia is a registered youth-led, non-profit organisation. They support local communities and women groups by helping in the drafting of their local Agenda 21 plans, having access to basic amenities (clean cooking, washing, human rights), building the capacity of grassroots development institutions, empowering women groups, providing environmental education to schools and helping young people in various green and social entrepreneurship ventures.
