The Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI) is the largest environmental movement organization in Indonesia, with 487 members from non-governmental organisations and nature lover organizations, as well as 203 individual members spread across 28 provinces in Indonesia. Its mission is to restore the state's mandate to uphold and protect people's sovereignty, to deconstruct the oppressive and exploitative global capitalistic economic order and build an alternative new world economic order that is rooted in sustainability for people.
