Description/notes

"The Food Justice Network is a grassroots collective of individuals, communities and organisations working to attain food justice. It seeks to strengthen farmers and communities to interrogate policies that helper food sovereignty whilst advocating for equitable access to nutritious food, promoting sustainable and just agricultural practices. It is concerned about the depletion of indigenous knowledge and the impact of climate change on food systems and seeks to engage all stakeholders to shift from aggressive methods of production, irresponsible consumption and waste to regenerative food systems. Vision: To facilitate the adoption of food systems that promote sustainable practices, support local communities to participate in decision making. Through capacity building, advocacy ad engagement we seek to foster just and inclusive food system that promote human rights, climate justice and sustainable development."
