Description/notes

The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) is dedicated to nature conservation and sustainable development in Nigeria. Their mission is to work on the conservation of nature and its resources with the aim of improving the quality of human life in both the present and the future by preserving the full range of Nigeria’s biodiversity which includes species, ecosystems and genetic biodiversity.

As well as promoting sustainable use of natural resources for the benefit of the present and future generations. For example within their work on climate change, they provide support for the national government on the review and implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) by strengthening National Adaptation Plans (NAP) and promoting its adoption by relevant stakeholders.
