Established on July 19, 1993, ICEL is a non-governmental organization that works for the realization of environmental justice based on the values of democracy, human rights, civility, sustainability, the rule of law, and sustainable development governance. ICEL carries out its advocacy through research, capacity building, case advocacy and knowledge management. ICEL's reform work is done on an evidence-based basis.
