|Description=Himalaya Niti Abhiyan (HNA) is a collective of grass root people’s resistance defending local livelihoods, environment and social equity with the idea of a sustainable mountain-specific development model. HNA campaigns for a sustainable mountain-specific development model involve a conceptual understanding of the Himalaya Niti focusing on Livelihood through conservation. The development strategy will be formalised with conservation as a main factor with control being in the hands of the locals.
