|Description=The “Centre for Development and Peace” is an NGO, located in Meherpur. With our training programs, we support and empower minorities and vulnerable groups in the Meherpur community and its neighbouring districts. Training traditional handicrafts, that meet the needs of today’s standards, is one of our most important programs for women. By continuing to make handicrafts after the training, the woman is enabled to generate income for themselves and their families.                                                                                              (website)
