Friends of Kenya Rising works to assist students and their families as they rise out of poverty through a Family Care model.

United Kenya Rising (UKR), is a non-profit organization based in Kakamega, Kenya. We focus on empowering families as they rise out of poverty through our five guiding stars that are; Education, Health, Livelihood, Agriculture, and Basic Needs. Currently, we are supporting over 200 families from Kakamega and neighboring counties.
