ما هو الكتيّب المرجعي؟

الكتيّب المرجعي هو عبارة عن فهرس للمنظمات في جنوب الكرة الأرضية التي تعمل في مجال العدالة المناخية والانتقال العادل. يمكن البحث في هذا الكتيّب حسب البلدان والمناطق الجغرافية والمواضيع أو المظالم الرئيسية. إنها أداة مفتوحة المصدر مصممة لتصبح أكثر شمولية بمرور الوقت.

تم تشكيل هذا الفهرس من قبل العدالة المناخية ـــ تعاونية المتبرعين للانتقال العادل (CJ-JT باللغة الإنجليزية) بما أن العديد من الدراسات أظهرت أن التمويل الخيري لم يصل إلى الأفراد الأكثر تضررًا من المظالم، وخاصة أولئك الموجودين في جنوب الكرة الأرضية. يهدف هذا الكتيّب المرجعي إلى تصحيح هذا الخلل من خلال مساعدة المؤسسات والمستشارين في العثور بسرعة على الذين يعملون على الميدان.

يسلط الفهرس الضوء ـــ حيثما أمكن ذلك ـــ على العمل الذي تقوده النساء والأشخاص ذوي البشرة الملونة والشباب والفئات المهمشة تاريخياً وذوي الإعاقة. تلعب هذه المجموعات دورًا رائدًا في طرح حلول عادلة ومنصفة على الرغم من حصولها على أقل الموارد وتسببها في أخف الأضرار للمناخ.

كيف تم تشكيله؟

يستند الكتيّب المرجعي إلى مصادر معلومات متنوعة، بما فيها شبكات العدالة المناخية والانتقال العادل الممولة من العمل الخيري والمعلومات التي يقدمها الخبراء العاملون في هذا المجال وكذلك البحوث المكتبية. تم منح جميع المنظمات المدرجة الفرصة للتحقق من أن المعلومات التي قمنا بتضمينها هي دقيقة وحديثة.

Based on our existing resources we have provided the core information in four languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French. In partnership with Climate Cardinals we are working to further provide multilingual translation for organisation descriptions and hope that as we continue to develop the Compendium we will be able to further identify and add Non-English organisations. This is important because most climate justice literature and climate campaigning is written and accessible entirely in English which results in systematic barriers to accessing information on climate change.
