Description/notes
The Mesoamerican Institute of Permaculture - IMAP - has as its objective the integral well-being of the peoples of Mesoamerica. We work to promote food sovereignty, the protection of biodiversity, agroecological education, and the strengthening of small agricultural producers.
We have a vision of defence of natural resources, the land and its people that we print in our agricultural, educational, nutritional and political work hand in hand with the peoples of Mesoamerica.
Our goal is to contribute to the rescue, conservation and adaptation of plants and seeds, both native and Creole. We work to protect native seeds and promote their cultivation for today and future generations. The activities of the program are coordinated from the Casa de Semillas located in our permaculture centre.
