BALAOD Mindanaw, or simply BALAOD, is a non-stock and non-profit legal resource institution that provides capacity-building and legal services to its partner communities on resource tenure and other social justice issues primarily in Mindanao.
We, as BALAOD, believe in the legal empowerment of marginalized groups and communities as a way of advancing their access to justice, gender equality, and legal improvement in the ownership and use of natural resources (resource tenure) within the context of people actively participating in governance.
