Based in Rio de Janeiro, Comunidades Catalisadoras (CatComm) is a not-for-profit favela advocate that operates as an adaptive collaborative network, working to support and empower favela residents in Rio and beyond. We have been working since 2000 at the intersection of sustainable community development, human rights, local-global networks, independent communication and urban planning. Our work evolves in line with the support needs of local favela mobilizers.
