Description/notes

"Taking care of the needy and local communities, As I transfer the knowledge to my community, When we pay attention to climate change and other environmental issues, we not only show concern for the planet and its living things, but also for the health of our communities. When our community benefit programs have an impact on the environment, we create co-benefits to improve health and the environment. A frequent approach for increasing access to health care is bringing health care to people who have faced barriers to care, rather than requiring them to find transportation and travel to sources of care. This may be done with mobile units, neighborhood clinics, school-based clinics or telemedicine. A substantial body of research shows during this program will grow up in poverty underperform in my region as better ways will be adopted, having access to higher education, and are more likely to be prepared for the high-skilled jobs of the future(sustainable). Eradicating poverty in my community directly linked to how we will manage ecosystems and the goods and services they provide. For example, the wellbeing and livelihoods of rural communities, particularly rural women, depend heavily on the health and productivity of our land. My community shall benefit much from this fellowship as we engage into compliance with SDGS agenda 2030. Despite a decrease in poverty incidence, many individuals continue to live in poverty. Because poverty is widespread, reducing it has emerged as the most pressing task for the global community especially in my community. As a result of this as a young bachelor degree holder, I couldn't wait to be employed by the state I have to engage in to skin care cosmetics where I have employed many youth in Cameroon who are today able to put food on the table. Education is often referred to as the great equalizer: It can open the door to jobs, resources, and skills that help a person not only survive, but thrive. In fact, according to UNESCO, if all students in low-income countries had just basic reading skills (nothing else), an estimated 171 million people could escape extreme poverty. If all adults completed secondary education, we could cut the global poverty rate by more than half. If we put this to practice, poverty alleviation shall be the key. To eradicate this ills at its core, I engaged into a quality education supports a child’s developing social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills so that Children who attend school also gain knowledge and skills, often at a higher level than those who aren’t in the classroom. They can then use these skills to earn higher incomes and build successful lives. I also raise the minimum wage to ensure economic stability for all. I intend to engage in to expanding Medicaid and ensure that people in Cameroon and my region can access high-quality, affordable health coverage. Close tax loopholes that benefit the wealthy and special interests and raise taxes on capital income. Protect and strengthen investments in basic living standards such as nutrition, health, and income insurance. Mental health awareness; People are more focused on their mental health now than ever before. Employees increasingly expect their employers to offer mental health support. The World Health Organization (WHO) recently called on companies to promote workers’ mental health and well-being. Many countries in Africa are not verse with mental health as an issue of great concern. They give lesser attention to it and I think this fellowship is going to widen my knowledge so that I may transfer it to my community and sub region. Despite growing recognition of the burden associated with mental illnesses, and the availability of cost-effective treatments, they are not yet afforded the same policy or program priority as comparably disabling physical conditions.Negative societal responses to people with mental illnesses may be the single greatest barrier to the development of mental health programs worldwide and with like this fellowship will help me have the required information to sensitise my people. Climate change and environmental sustainability: I really qualified for this fellowship because being into Organic ingredients can be better for your skin and the planet, but it is important to note that organic doesn't always mean sustainable. More than anything, products with a simple ingredient list of all-natural materials are likely going to be less of a stressor for the environment. I will better my knowledge as some common makeup ingredients, such as plastics, metals like lead, cadmium, and mercury, and synthetic chemicals like parabens and pthalates, do not easily break down in landfills and can persist for many years. This can lead to the accumulation of waste and pollution in the landfill. Things like excessive packaging, plastic pollution, and unsustainable resource consumption are huge problems within the cosmetic industry that have devastating impacts on the environment. It also have positive impact to the environment for example,The ingredients of organic cosmetics have been grown without the use of pesticides or harmful fertilisers. So, if you use them, you'll protect biodiversity and promote organic farming. Swapping to Eco-beauty will benefit not only you, but the environment too. As the world is fighting climate change , we into cosmetics are putting in effort to resist the negativity of climate change as Using natural and organic products in much better for the environment. Skincare products that contain chemicals can have a very damaging impact on the environment, sprays and perfumes that are released into the atmosphere can be very harmful, as well as the manufacturing process that takes place to create them. Attending the fellowship is much more important as I will transmit the knowledge to our fellow colleagues into the field of cosmetic. Despite this, cosmetic makers often tout natural ingredients, implying that they are less polluting and therefore better for the environment. On the contrary, the “natural” ingredients in personal and skin care products often contribute to pollution, habitat destruction, and climate change. Changes in the environment, whether it's an increase in temperature, humidity, or air quality, can influence the health of our skin. For example, it can alter your skin's pH balance, increase sweating and oil production, and increase breakouts and the optimum environmental temperature for skin (and for the human body) is around 64.4°F – 71.6°F. This allows for optimum heat exchange between the body (at 98.6°F) and the outside. Dry skin is an issue related more to humidity. All knowledge gathered will better educate my people. With all these analysis, we are creating impacts of climate change on different ecosystems and communities.and exploring collaborative strategies for countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change effects and highlighting the importance of transitioning to sustainable energy sources in our verious fields.
