    |Description=Instituto Pólis is a national civil society organization (CSO) constituted as a non-profit, non-partisan and pluralist civil association. Since its founding, in 1987, the Pólis has the city as the locus of its operations. The defence of the Right to the City is present in its research, advisory work or evaluation of public policies, always working together with civil society aiming at local development in the construction of more just, sustainable and democratic cities. Over 30 years of work with multidisciplinary teams of researchers who also actively participate in the public debate on urban social issues.
